Hey Guys,

I know many people were interested in this event after I did it last summer. Looks like they are going to be doing it again. It was a incredible well run event with 2 timing mats to get your 1/4 mile time and beer drinking time. I would highly recommend it. Here is the info:

Drink, run, repeat. The Beer Mile comes to Northeast Minneapolis! This is a timed event following closely the official (or as official as they get) beer mile rules.
How It Works:
Drink a 12 oz can of beer, run a quarter mile. Drink a 12 oz can of beer, run a quarter mile. Drink a 12 oz can of beer, run a quarter mile. Drink a 12 oz can of beer, run a quarter mile.

Add it up and you have 4 cans of beer and a mile - that's a Beer MIle.

Participants drink their beer, exit the parking lot and head left on to Hennepin Avenue, then left on 4th Street, left again on 1st Avenue, left on University Avenue and enter Surdyk's parking lot from University to the exchange zone. Repeat 3 more times.

Your timing is impeccable! First Ragnar, now this. One mile is EXACTLY what my "day-before-marathon" training plan calls for!
